The Bestnet A/S headquarters are based in Denmark, but over the last few years the company has grown and expanded into an organization that is truly global in scope. Bestnet currently has state of the art facilities and skilled personnel located on four continents. Its global network of distributors and local agents consists of highly trained and experienced staff that understands local needs and cultural differences.

Bestnet's most prominent products are its Netprotect® Long Lasting Insecticide Incorporated Mosquito Nets (LLINs) designed for prevention and control of malaria and other vector borne diseases, the Yellowone Needle Cap© designed for the safe, secure disposal of luer-slip syringe needles and its Sunlife® solar powered product line bringing solar power, light and communications to millions of people who do not have electricity.

Bestnet believes in shared-value and that social, environmental and economic sustainability goes hand in hand and can be created through dedicated local and global partnerships.

Eliminating malaria is one area where shared-value is evident.  Malaria and outbreaks of other vector-borne diseases such as dengue fever threaten the lives and livelihoods of millions, which in turn has a negative impact on supply chain operations and economic growth and stability in both developing and emerging markets.

Corporate-based malaria control programs can significantly reduce the number of malaria cases among employees, their families and local communities in the supply chain. Which results in shared-value for employees, communities, investors, corporations and local governments alike.

A growing number of private corporations are currently stepping up and facing the malaria challenge, not only because it is the ethical choice, but because it is a sound, cost-effective business decision and a very profitable business case.

As a member of the UN GC and GBCHealth, Bestnet A/S makes available our WHOPES recommended LLIN, Netprotect®, its local knowledge and global network to corporate partners ready to combat malaria.

Bestnet A/S is a member of the UN GC and is currently in the process of implementing the ten UN GC principles on human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption throughout its organization. Bestnet's CSR approach is business-driven and it believes in shared-value and that social, environmental and economic sustainability goes hand in hand.
